In February: Kindergarten will continue to create Food Group Plates and learn new Technology vocabulary. First grade will be learning to navigate websites by looking at Language Arts and Math games on FunBrain and create a rhyming project in KidPix. Second Grade will work on an 'accordion book' based on their animal reports. Third Grade will continue to learn Excel through creating a planet chart. Fourth Grade will finish their Mission Podcasts. Fifth Grade will begin their state reports and will learn MLA format and review Internet research skills and wrap up their Excel unit with an Excel test. Sixth Grade will create a Jeopardy! game in PowerPoint with a partner. Seventh Grade will play 'travel agent' by creating a podcast about somewhere they would like to visit.
