Our teaching philosophy:
We believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn in a loving and caring environment. We want to provide experiences that promote life long learning and develop each child’s unique strengths. We want all of our students to gain not only a valuable education but also the understanding of how God wants us to live and treat others on a daily basis.

Goals for the year:
We hope to build the confidence and self control needed to be successful in school. We desire for our students to gain a better understanding of God’s love. We also want our students to master beginning phonics and build sight word vocabulary so they can become confident readers. Lastly, we want every child to feel excited about learning and trying new things.

Kindergarten January News
In January we will be learning the Lords prayer and what it means. We will learn about rocks, volcanoes and dinosaurs. We will be studying about Martin Luther King Jr. and how he helped change the world. We will also talk about China and celebrate Chinese New Year. In math we will be reviewing touch math addition and subtraction. We will be writing our numbers up to 30. In language arts we will begin phonetic reading and spelling.
