Which Early Education Program is right for my child?
We offer several nurturing programs designed to meet young learners where they are developmentally:
- Cubs: 3 years old and potty trained
- Pre-Kindergarten: 4 years old by September 1
- Transitional Kindergarten (TK): 5 years old by January 31
- Kindergarten: 5 years old by September 1

What are the school hours at RHLS?
Our school day runs from morning drop-off to afternoon dismissal as follows:
- Grades 4–8 begin at 8:15 a.m.
- TK–3rd Grade begin at 8:40 a.m.
- Staggered dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m.

How many students are in a class?
Our average class size is 24 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. With just one class per grade and the support of dedicated classroom assistants, our teachers are able to give each student the attention and care they need to thrive—both academically and personally.
Are field trips offered?
Yes! Field trips are a meaningful part of the RHLS experience. Students at every grade level enjoy off-campus experiences that enrich classroom learning: from local adventures and museum visits to outdoor education experiences. Is there a dress code?
Yes, RHLS has a school-wide dress code, and students wear uniforms on most school days. Our dress code helps create a sense of community, reduces distractions, and promotes a respectful learning environment. We appreciate parents partnering with us to support this standard.

Are parent-teacher conferences part of the school year?
Yes. We hold formal parent-teacher conferences at the end of the first quarter to discuss student progress and set goals together. Do you have after-school sports or other extra curricular activities?
RHLS offers a variety of enriching programs that let students explore their interests and develop new skills.

Yes! We offer a daily, optional hot lunch program through Choice Lunch, a trusted school meal provider. Families can customize and order meals in advance to suit their child’s tastes and needs.
Does Riviera Hall Lutheran School offer before and after school care?
Yes. We offer both before and after school care to support busy families:

After care runs from 3:05 to 5:00 p.m.
